Got a text from 07542 717381 saying I’d been near someone who had Omicron. I barely leave the house, so seemed fishy to me. Plus, I’m not sure labs in the UK even tell you which variant you’ve got. The message wanted me to click a link to get a PCR test.

Got a text saying I'd been around someone with covid, which was pretty alarming, but wasn't sure if it was legit or some kind of scam.

I reckon this is a dodgy scam claiming I've been near someone with omicron and telling me to visit https://swab-test-kit.com. Seems fishy since my covid app hasn't notified me at all and I do two lateral flow tests every week. I looked it up on the NHS site, and all legit messages and calls come from 0300 013 5000, so I'd say steer clear of that site.

I got a text saying I've been near someone with the omicron variant and it had a link to buy a test kit - seems dodgy to me, probably a scam.
