Got a text from someone saying their phone was busted and asked me to chat with a different number on WhatsApp. Seemed a bit dodgy to me.

I got a message from someone called James at EVRI saying they couldn't deliver my parcel. They wanted me to update my login info, but the link in the message wasn’t the official EVRI site. Definitely don’t follow that link - it’s a total scam.

Got a text from someone saying, "Hi mum, can you send my new number on WhatsApp? I'm using a mate’s phone cause mine got smashed." But when I asked my daughter about it, she said it wasn’t her sending that message. Bit weird!

Got a text saying "Hey mum, I broke my phone. Can you message my mates on WhatsApp using this number?" But it wasn’t from any of our children, so pretty sure it’s a scam or some sort of phishing attempt.

Got a text from +447542365658, said it was Evri. They said some bloke James tried to deliver my parcel today but couldn’t because no one was in. Well, that’s hardly surprising at 6.42 am, I was fast asleep! The message asked me to reschedule by clicking a link - the only link I ended up clicking was the one to block that number.
