I've received exactly the same call. The bloke claimed he was attempting to erase our details from some databases to stop those incessant sales calls. I'm beginning to think it's a mobile number, and there’s no way to ring it back. This comes on the heels of several calls from different charities, for which we apparently consented to promote their causes, and now they're after payment. Quite peculiar that both the charity callers and this 'Rachel' from data protection all have northern accents. Isn’t that odd?

I’ve been receiving persistent calls that feel quite menacing. It seems like some sort of scam, if I'm honest. The individual on the other end is rather unfriendly and comes across as rather confrontational.
