Got a text from 07541044554 really early, about 2:50 in the morning, saying I'd missed a parcel from EVRI. The message said something like "You may be applicable to a delivery fee" which sounded odd with the grammar all wrong. I hadn’t ordered anything recently, so I went onto the EVRI site and tried to check the reference number they gave me, but it was too short and didn’t match their usual format. Definitely a scam, be careful!

I answered and they hung up straight away - have blocked the number now.

Got a call from this number on my mobile over here in Ireland. The second I picked up, the call just dropped, probably hoping I'd call them back - which I never did! Since we're in the accommodation business, we have to watch out for dodgy scammers like this.

Seems like they're ringing just to confirm the details they have on you. Heads up - they try asking for you by your name, then just cut the call. Pretty obvious scam in the making. Like most of these, it’s coming from an Indian call centre. The number they use (07541044554) won’t even connect if you try to ring back, so it’s probably a spoofed number.
