Had a guy calling me saying he was from Amazon, telling me someone was trying to buy an iPhone 12 using my account. He asked for the OTP that had just been sent to me, but I didn’t give it to him. I ended the call straight away, then logged into my Amazon and bank accounts to check. Sure enough, it was a scam trying to trick me.

someone called claiming to be from amazon, saying my account was being used fraudulently and that i had to cancel a suspicious order. they wanted to know what kind of phone i had, but i told them i’d ring amazon myself and then they just cut me off! they went as far as passing me to a "supervisor" too, sounded pretty legit but luckily i wasn’t fooled.

Got a call from someone named ‘Jerry’ claiming I owed money for an Amazon purchase. Total scam, of course. Just blocked the number straight away.

got a call saying my account was going to be charged for a new iphone i supposedly bought. they told me to press 1 to talk to someone. total scam coz i never bought any phone nor plan to. definitely a scam!

Got a robocall saying my Amazon Prime subscription ended, but it’s not set to renew until April 1st. Amazon usually charges me straight away, so this feels like a total scam. Be careful!

Got a voicemail saying it was from Amazon about me buying an iPhone and that they’ll take the money from my account. Then it said if I hadn’t ordered anything, I should press 1. Total scam, don’t fall for it!
