I got a call from someone who sounded like they had a strong Indian accent and said they were from BT. They phoned me on my landline from what seemed like a mobile number, telling me that my broadband and phone would be down for four days because of some work nearby. I asked them to send me an email to confirm it and they didn’t want to do that.
