Got a call from a woman with an obvious foreign accent who said she was from Nationwide or something like that. She actually knew my name, which freaked me out a bit. I told her the call flagged up as suspicious and asked her to hold on a moment, and then she just cut me off straight away. Honestly didn't expect that to happen!

Got a call from a woman claiming to be from NW Building Society, asking loads of personal stuff. If she really was, she'd already have my info - banks never ring you from a mobile number anyway. Felt fishy right from the start.

This guy from overseas kept messing up my name every time he called, so I just ended up hanging up and blocking him.

some guy called me and said my name but he mispronounced it. i asked who it was, and he said his name was max with a strong asian accent and said he was from nationwide building society. when i asked him to say his name and company again, the call just got cut off. i don’t have any accounts with nationwide. watch out, folks!
