Got a text that looked like it was from Paypal saying my account was locked because of failed payments and gave a dodgy link to "fix" it. Seemed fishy straight away. I checked my Paypal through the app like I always do, and nothing was wrong, no block or anything. Definitely a scam trying to catch people out.

Got a message saying "paypal: your login has been restricted because of some failed payment attempts." I went ahead and reported it to 7726 just to be safe.

Got this message from 07539671006 saying my Paypal is locked and gave me a link. Thing is, I’ve never even had a Paypal account! Total scam, don’t click anything.

Just got a message saying "PayPal has restricted your account because of unsuccessful payment tries, please click: [#Jlogin-id3948832[###] to unblock." Definitely seems like some phishing scam to me.

Steer clear of this one! Got a dodgy text saying something like, ‘PayPal’s locked your account cos of failed payment attempts - click here: [#Jlogin-id3948832[###] to unlock.’ Proper scam, don’t fall for it!
