I got a call from someone claiming to be an Amazon delivery guy, trying to trick me into sharing personal info. It’s the same sort of scam others have mentioned here before, using threats and fake identities. Honestly, this number is sketchy and I reckon it ought to be reported to the police. If you get a call from this number, just don’t trust it and block straight away.

Got a call claiming my Barclays account was frozen due to shady transactions. They mentioned I hadn’t used my card for a bit, which raised my suspicions since I know Barclays don’t actually freeze accounts like that. Heard some folks with Virgin Money and Nationwide have been getting similar dodgy calls as well.

Looks like this number gets linked to loads of scams, so I’m not convinced every comment is genuine! If you think it’s a scam, you really should report it through the proper police channels - they have a system specifically for tracking and looking into these things. You can find info on the National Cyber Security Centre site under their PHISHING page: 'https://www.ncsc.gov.uk/collection/phishing-scams'. Also, if scammers are faking a valid number, the real owner needs to contact their phone company and Ofcom to make sure their number isn’t wrongly marked as suspicious.
