Just got a call from 07538 891276, some scammer claiming I’m involved in a legal case and under investigation. I told him the police were already watching my phone, so I knew it was a con. That made him swear and shout nonstop until I hung up. There’s loads of dodgy people out there looking to trick folks. I worry about older people who might believe this rubbish. Make sure to tell your parents or any elderly neighbours about these scams, so they don’t get caught out.

They picked up but stayed quiet, then just hung up. I blocked the number straight away.

this number +44 7538 891276 rang me twice in the space of a few days, both times saying they were from citizens advice. I’ve gone ahead and blocked it for good now.

I got two calls from the same number, I missed one but picked up the other by mistake. The guy on the line already knew my name and claimed he was calling from Citizen Advice. I just ended the call straight away.
