Turns out, the lady who answered explained she’s been getting strange calls from unknown numbers herself. When I told her that this number had been reported 28 times with signs of a bank scam about three months back, she agreed it might’ve been hijacked by scammers. So, I’ve blocked it now. These days with all the digital trickery and cybercrime, you just can’t be too careful.
