I got a call from someone saying they were from the "UK Government Living Allowance Office," telling me I had to apply because the winter fuel allowance for pensioners had been scrapped. They even sent me a link to follow. Since I’m not a pensioner at all, I told them to tell the Prime Minister to "go stuff himself," and if they couldn’t manage that, then they should do it themselves. It was obvious bollocks to me. I’m blocking their number, but I’m sure I’ll get more calls from these lot soon - they just don’t give up until they realise I’m not interested.
