Got a call claiming to be from NHS COVID, saying I had to get a PCR test straight away. They asked for my name, address, then even wanted my card details to pay £3.99 for a speedy test result. Total scam. They even threatened a fine if I didn’t order the test that day and went on about self isolation rules. Sounded pretty convincing and could easily catch someone out. Gotta stay sharp and not fall for it!

I’ve just had a message from this con artist! It was quite the red flag that my app failed to notify me, and with that number plastered at the top, it screamed scam! Remember, both lateral flow and PCR tests don’t cost a penny! You can also head to an official test centre! I looked into the website associated with it, and it’s registered via Namecheap, while the genuine NHS site is managed through Microsoft. Quite suspicious, isn't it?
