I received a rather dodgy phone call today from someone claiming to be from HSBC, inquiring about a questionable transaction on my bank account. They insisted that there was an issue involving someone overseas making off with my funds! To "verify my identity," they were fishing for my credit card information. Fortuitously, I recognised it as a scam right away and didn't fall for their trickery.

Got a text supposedly from HSBC saying money had been withdrawn from my account, with a link to click. Definitely a scam, don’t fall for it!
