Got a dodgy text from this number claiming it was Halifax. It said a new payee got added through mobile banking and had a link to "report" it. Totally fake, not Halifax at all!

Got a text from 'HALIFAX' saying a new payee was added through mobile banking, with a link to some [#]online-payee-removal[###]. Problem is, I never use mobile banking. I logged into my Halifax account on my laptop and there's nothing unusual - no new payees or transactions. I'm thinking of clicking the link to see whats up before I ask for more details. If it's dodgy, I’ll be reporting it to both the bank and the authorities for sure.
