I got a call from an automated woman claiming to be from HMRC, saying there was some sort of investigation going on against me and to "press 1" to speak to an officer. Just a heads up, HMRC never calls with an AI voice telling you to press numbers! I've experienced this before - best not to press anything or let them put you through to any so called "officer." After I didn’t press anything for about 10 seconds, the robotic voice just said "goodbye" and ended the call.
