I got a dodgy message claiming I’d been approved for a winter heating grant from the local council. It had a link which, once clicked, asked me to put in my bank details. Totally sketchy - dodgy stuff trying to steal your info! If you get a text like this, be careful and keep your personal info safe. The message said the offer ends before 3rd November 2024 and that they’d send the money within a week - but it’s just a scam pretending to be from the UK home office. Stay alert, everyone!
