5 yearsThis number has been blowing up my phone with calls and texts non stop. It started out with them trying to get me to 'update my info' for a TSB business account that I don’t even have any connection to. Then I got texts saying they'd ring me to 'verify a transaction' and included some password to log into TSB online banking - definitely seemed like a trick to get me to click on a fake site or something. I ended up chatting with some bloke called ‘Shaun’ a few times. He sounded proper posh but I wasn’t buying any of it. Honestly, they were pretty relentless with the calls.TSBTSB Internet BankingShaun5 yearsI posted before saying this was definitely a scam, but turns out I got it wrong - had called TSB to check it out, but spoke to the lost and stolen cards team instead of fraud, who actually handle anything to do with suspicious activity. Eventually managed to ring the fraud department (got their number from the TSB website) and they confirmed the texts and calls were legit. Apparently, there was some dodgy activity on my card after all. So, these numbers are real and linked to TSB fraud alerts: 0345 356 1034 +44 121 260 2966 and texts from +44 7537 453 827 Would really appreciate it if a mod could delete my earlier post that started with “This is a scam.” and ended with “...extract further information.” Cheers!TSB5 yearsearlier on i said this was a scam but turns out it isnt. i spoke with the lost and stolen cards team who dont handle fraud cases, not the tsb fraud department itself. actually the text was legit and my credit card was being used without my permission. sorry for the confusion. this number is legit along with 0345 356 1034 and +44 121 260 2966.5 yearsBeware, this is a total scam. I got a text claiming my TSB credit card (they even used the last 4 digits) had possible fraud. This text arrived in the same folder as my real TSB messages, which made it look authentic. It said I'd get another message from +447537453827 with more info. Sure enough, moments later, a text popped up from that number listing a suspicious transaction, including date, time, place, and amount. It asked me to reply ‘Yes’ if I recognised it or ‘No’ if I didn’t. Problem was, these messages came outside TSB’s fraud line hours so I couldn’t check straight away and I didn’t reply. Then this morning, I received a phone call from 0345 356 1034, again pretending to be TSB about suspected fraud on my account. I rang TSB myself and confirmed it’s a scam. Don’t reply or engage - those fraud alerts are just a trick scammers use to verify your identity before trying to get more info from you.TSBSubmit Your Own Report (07537 453827)
