Got a call from this number but it came up as risky, then they texted me about some O2 upgrade I supposedly had. Problem is, Google says it's Vodafone, and I'm not with them at all. Plus, my upgrade isn’t even until January! These people are a joke. Watch out and don’t pick up!

Got a text saying 'Hi ### your o2 upgrade is ready! Reply YES to see your phone options and discounts, and we'll ring you!' The person replied 'Yes' and then got a call from someone speaking with an English accent. They started talking about their data usage and asked for bank info to set up a new direct debit. Feels like a proper scam and a chance for ID theft.

Got a text this morning. If it were really from O2, they usually follow up with an email as well. No email showed up so I just deleted the message. Just got the exact same message at 19:38 UK time yesterday evening. 02 never suddenly texts you like that, usually they ring using an auto dialler or send an automated message. This really feels like a scam to me.
