Got a call from someone saying it was about a claim, but it smelled fishy so I just ended the call.

Got a ring from this number saying I was about to get a cheque for £2500, but if I cashed it at the bank, I’d only get £850. Then they went on about having life insurance to get the full sum. After that, they tried pushing life insurance on me. When I refused, the person got rude and asked why I didn’t want my money! I just ended the call. Total spam. Caller was ‭07537 186552‬.

This number has rung me up a couple of times now, claiming my PPI claim went through and asking which bank account I want the money sent to. When I said I'd rather have a cheque, they just hung up on me. Quite suspicious if you ask me.
