Totally a scam, no doubt. Someone rang my family saying they were James Anderson from the Barclays fraud team, which freaked them out. So I dialled them back, and this time a different person claimed to be from Halifax fraud department. When I pointed out it was a scam and challenged them, they just cut the call.
