I got a call from 07537141247, and it seemed like some sort of automated message claiming to be from the US tax office. They said if I hit 1, I’d be connected to a US agent to deal with it. I didn’t press anything and just ended the call. I’ve blocked the number since and reported it as a scam. When I searched the number online, there was absolutely nothing about it anywhere, not even on Google. To me, legit US customs or tax people wouldn’t ring from a mobile like that.

Got a call from some place called Best Comparison, which I'd never come across before and hadn't contacted them at all. I nicely told the woman on the phone that I wasn’t interested and asked her to take my number off their list. I doubt they actually will, but to be fair, she was quite courteous, not rude like most do when you say that! I’ll label it as nuisance because I didn’t make the call, but all things considered, she was nice about it!

I got a missed call from this number and it caught my eye because it looks nearly the same as another one I missed too, which apparently is linked to an Amazon Prime scam according to this site. They were saying something about my subscription running out, but anyone with Amazon Prime knows that it doesn't just expire on its own. You have to actually cancel it yourself, or it just keeps going continuously.

They started off knowing my name, address, and email which was a bit creepy. Then they asked if I’d done some survey about life insurance and if I’d gotten a voucher for it. I told them I don’t do surveys at all so that couldn’t be right. Then they asked about my insurance and funeral plans, I just said I wasn’t interested and ended the call.
