A man with an Indian accent told me about a "government-supported debt recovery programme". I asked him, "Which country's government are you talking about?" He snapped back, "The UK government, obviously, what else do you want?" He told me to look it up online to see for myself. I asked, "What terms should I put into Google?" and he suddenly accused me of using "filthy language". I clarified I meant "keywords". After a bit, when I kept saying I don't owe anything, he asked me repeatedly, "Do you have a mental problem?" before suddenly hanging up.

Totally a SCAM - Watch out! The person on the phone said they were from the ‘National Debt Helpline’ and were calling for a ‘creditor’ who apparently ‘gave your info to GST’. When I asked her who this creditor was cause I had no clue what she was on about, she just went silent for like 10 seconds and then ended the call.

Honestly, I have no clue why this number rang me. Right from the start, I felt a bit iffy because the person on the line butchered my name and spoke so oddly I could barely get what they were saying. Received three calls within a span of two hours. The initial call was from an Asian gentleman regarding some debt issues. The second call had a woman on the line who didn’t say anything initially, only eventually uttering “goodbye”. The third call was quite similar to the second, eerily silent at first. Had loads of calls from unknown numbers lately, all from overseas. I just end up blocking them straight away. One time this woman got really rude and told me to be quiet. Real charm, that one!

Got a call from someone claiming to be a debt collector, but it felt really dodgy, like a scam. Definitely wasn’t convinced it was legit.

I've been getting calls from this number pretty often. I tried ringing them back one time but they just cut me off. Seen what others have said about it too, so I think I'll just block the number now.

Got calls from this number three times today. The lady said she’s from a debt cancellation place that supposedly works with "the British government." Totally feels like a scam to me, best just to hang up straight away.

Got three calls today - two were silent and one bloke claimed to be from NATIONAL DEBT HELP. I rang NATIONAL DEBT HELP myself and they told me they never call anyone unless they've asked for help first. Watch out and don’t give out your info to these callers.
