I received a call from this number today, and it turns out it’s linked to an Indian call centre trying to pose as if they were HMRC. The whole ruse was painfully clear from the start. Just a word of caution for everyone; stay vigilant!

Got a couple of calls asking to speak with my husband about a marriage tax thing he supposedly filed. Problem is, he never did, so we just hung up. First call was some Asian man, then today it was an Asian woman. Really annoying!

The number belongs to a firm called Ensign Advisory LTD. They're supposed to help you reclaim marriage tax from the tax office, but their fees are ridiculous - 42% plus £100, which means if you have £1000, they’d take a whopping £520! I made it clear what I wanted, but honestly, I’d say just block the number and steer clear of the whole thing.
