I received a rather peculiar call from someone purporting to be a member of the UK armed forces, going by the name of Hilton Elliott. He was seeking assistance due to his alleged deployment on a peacekeeping operation in West Africa, asking for a sum of £100. However, the images he’s using do seem to be of a genuine UK soldier named James, who is indeed on Instagram. The unsettling part is that James is not on any deployment and certainly isn’t in need of financial help. Sounds like a classic case of someone pulling a fast one!
