I’ve been receiving messages that seem to be from family, saying they've misplaced their phone and important documents, and they're in desperate need of cash to cover some bills-specifically £1090. The account they asked me to transfer the money to was under the name Priyanka Nada. It's rather suspicious!

I received a dodgy call from this number, and it’s clearly a scam. Someone claiming to be my son said he had changed his number and needed funds to settle some bills. The conversation started with “Hi Mum” and quickly turned into a plea for money to sort out two different issues. Definitely on my guard now!

I received a message from this number, claiming to be my son. They said that he had damaged his phone and this was his new contact number. To add to my stress, I’ve got two bills due by the end of the day. When I inquired about the amount, they came back with a staggering £900.09. I had to let them know that my account balance couldn’t possibly stretch that far, and then they asked if I had a credit card instead. I informed them that I didn’t own one, to which they simply replied, "Alright x".
