2 yearsBack in July, this woman from Scotland asked for a £250 deposit for some King Charles Cavalier pups. She kept sending me pics and videos, promising I could pick them up on the 25th of August. But then, a few weeks before, she just vanished. One of the photos had the puppy’s name tattooed on her wrist and hand, which matched hers. She even asked what we'd call the pup and said she'd use that name. Honestly, I’m gutted. I even shared with her how our dog Rosie passed away last October.CharlesRosie2 yearsLuckily we never handed over the £200 deposit since they wanted us to send it via PayPal friends and family, so in the end we didn’t lose a penny. We just took ourselves off the puppy waiting list because we believed we had sorted a pup elsewhere. They said the deposit could be paid when we went to see the puppy on 10th August, but after a week of trying to fix a viewing and getting no reply, we flagged it up to Freeads. Strange enough, after getting a call from a Scottish lady called Louise Simpson, we even received a contract through the post.PayPalFreeadsLouise Simpson2 yearsI got conned out of £200 by a Scottish woman called Louise who was selling puppies. It was such a well thought out scam, really detailed and believable. She was so convincing, I had no doubt it was legit and we even chose a name for our little pup. It was a proper big con - she even gave us fake details like an address, email and bank info. After we set up a day to see the pups, she suddenly pushed it back from the 26th to the 29th, then just cut all contact and blocked us everywhere!!
