Got a text saying I need to pay £2.99 for a parcel or else it’ll be sent back. Problem is, I’ve not bought anything recently, so it’s clearly just spam.

got a text saying it was from royal mail about a parcel with £2.99 unpaid fees, said i had to pay or it would be sent back, they gave a link too. sounded dodgy so i looked it up here and loads of others said same thing. just ignore and block the number!

Just got a text from the number above claiming that i owe £2.99 for shipping fees. It told me to go to some dodgy-looking link like [#]royal mail-iling[###], saying if i don’t pay it, my parcel will be sent back. Seems really fishy to me, probably a scam.
