I got a call from someone claiming to be with EE, saying I was entitled to a free phone upgrade. I do use EE but I've got no contract, so the upgrade bit sounded dodgy to me. I asked the bloke what my name was, and he just kept going on about representing EE without giving me an answer. I told him if I’m meant to be getting an upgrade, surely he’d know my name. After that, he just snapped and told me to "F*** off." The person was speaking English, and I kept calm the whole time, just wanted to check he knew who I was, but obviously, it was a spam call with no clue of my details.
