Got a call about my heating, some sort of con. The woman was really rude too.

I got a ring from a woman who said her name was Gavey and sounded like she was from the UK. She claimed to be calling on behalf of the Energy Saving Trust and started asking about my loft insulation, mentioning some kind of help to get it improved. Then she wanted to pass me on to another colleague to set up a free survey. When I asked if they had a website I could check out, she said yes but then suddenly went silent and couldn’t provide any details. After a bit, she just hung up. Since my number is on the TPS list, I’m pretty sure this was a dodgy scam call.

Got a call from someone claiming theres a damp issue around here, blaming it on the cost of living and heating problems. They said they pulled my number from some kind of national list. Totally illegal call since I'm on the official do not call register!

Got a call from someone claiming to be The Energy Saving Centre. They didn't seem to know my name, so it was obviously a cold call. I just ended the call when I asked if they actually knew who I was.
