Some bloke rang claiming to be from Microsoft, said my computer was under attack or something and they could help me fix it remotely. I wasn’t sure if it was legit, but when I said no thanks, he started getting really rude and told me he’d block not just my computer but also my phone and iPad if I didn’t let him sort it. I stood my ground and obviously he hung up, so yeah, seemed like a classic scam to me just trying to get access.
