Got a message saying I was owed a rebate with a link to click on. Pretty sure HMRC never contacts you through a mobile text like that or asks for your bank info. Fishy if you ask me.

Got a text from someone pretending to be "EE" saying my payment didn’t go through, with a dodgy link like ee-service[###]. Total scam, don’t click it!

Late last night around 11:53 pm, I got a text from this number saying it was from Gov UK and that I could claim a tax refund if I went to a certain website. Seemed dodgy to me, so I just blocked the number straight away.
