Just so you know, those positive reviews usually come from folks who've genuinely got some helpful advice from an IFA. People leaving bad reviews often haven’t actually listened to the entire call before judging. IFAs offer guidance based on the UK pension system, not some sketchy foreign investments. Also, clients are told upfront that the assessment is free and there's absolutely no pressure to accept the advice. It’s as straightforward as that.

I had a chat with a guy who was really good and gave me a hand tracking down my pensions. He also told me I could get a free evaluation of the pension I already had. Later on, an IFA visited and was super friendly, sending me a detailed financial report afterwards. He never pushed me into any decisions and actually helped me see that there are loads of pension providers in the UK that perform much better.

For the past three weeks, I've been getting calls daily from the same number. I've blocked it now, so it just shows up as a blocked caller in my call history. Even though no one ever said anything when I answered, the calls kept coming. I was a bit concerned it might be one of my kids using a mate’s phone to get in touch, but after asking around, that wasn’t it. So, I looked the number up and it turns out it’s a scam. Definitely going to keep it blocked.

Managed to get this daft lady to slam the phone down on me! Yay me! She claimed to be from Pension Legal or summat. Then she said she wouldn’t waste my time. I told her since she rang me out of the blue, she already was. She stuck to her usual script and asked if I'd ever contributed to a pension. I said she’d know that if she’s calling about it, surely. Then she quickly hung up on me. Proper chuffed with myself here. That number's definitely blocked now!

i read someone mentioned getting phone calls non-stop for weeks, but honestly, why dont they just answer and say they’re not interested? no point letting them just keep calling and wasting everyone’s time.
