Got a call from someone saying they were EE, but my phone already showed it as dodgy. Still answered to tell them off and ask them to stop calling me - as if that'll work. I knew straight away it was a con because I’m on a family EE plan and all their calls go to my mum, not me. Definitely a scam.

I answered the call and a lady with a foreign accent said she was calling from BT Mobile. I mentioned that usually BT’s name shows up instead of a random number, so I suspected this was a scam. She actually called me an idiot and then just ended the call.
