Got a call from someone saying they were from this company Genesis. They said I’d signed up with them ages ago for life insurance and just wanted to check my details were still right. Thing is, I’ve never had any kind of life insurance through them or anyone else, so I knew straight away it was some kind of scam. When I called them out on it, the person got really pushy and started being quite rude. Definitely a dodgy cold call trying to fish info.
