I received a call from someone saying they were representing Three. They asked when we were planning to renew our contract and what phone model we’d prefer. They didn't request any payment details, but they did seem to know our name and postcode. Is this some sort of scam, or could they actually be legitimate agents for Three?

I had a rather unpleasant experience with a phone call from a company purporting to be Three Cell. I took the liberty of reporting their antics to the fraud team, as it became evident they were up to no good. The name of the outfit was “Rang Everything Everywhere Ltd,” not Three Cell, mind you. I urge everyone to keep their wits about them and avoid sharing any personal details with these dubious callers!

We've been receiving quite a few calls from this number, but every time we try to engage, the other party hangs up. When we attempt to return the call, all we get is a recorded message prompting us to hit 1 for a call back. It’s rather irritating, as we seem to receive around four or five of these calls daily, and we have no clue who’s behind them.

What a right swindle this was! This number rang us up and when we pointed out that they’d got our contract details all wrong, they just hung up. Typical, isn’t it?
