Bloody debt collectors ringing up saying you owe them cash. Best avoid them completely. Honestly reckon I’d love to get their personal numbers and just ring them non stop all day long. Got a call from 07534 688887 on my phone - a recorded woman said something like “if you owe over £x thousand, there’s a Government scheme that can help you... press 5 for more info or press 9 to be taken off our list.” I hit 9 and hung up. Same thing happened last week and the week before, and they still keep calling. So much for pressing 9! We’ll never be rid of these annoying calls (including those dodgy 0161 numbers) as long as BT is making cash somewhere in the chain. Honestly, BT could shut them down in no time if they wanted.
