Normally, I’m pretty cautious before picking up unknown numbers, but this one caught me off guard. A bloke called me, knew my name and address, and was asking about the damp and mould treatments being done in my house, plus if there had been any problems since the surveyor’s last visit. It sounded legit to me. Still, I only answered with short yes or no replies, just to be safe in case it was some dodgy scam. After having a look here, I’m a bit worried that if it wasn’t genuine, what else they might try to do. Fingers crossed they crack down on it if it turns out to be a con.
