I got a call from 07548677136 claiming to be from HM Revenue & Customs, saying I owed them money. They asked me to verify my name and address and even how long I’d been unemployed. When I told him he must be mistaken and that I wasn’t in debt, he said he was calling from overseas. Then, when I asked where he’d got my number from, he just cut me off. Proper dodgy.

Got a message about my Halifax account saying there was some unauthorised payment. It had a link and said to click it. I just ignored it, deleted the text, and blocked the number right away.

Got a text saying it was from Halifax, asking me to click a link to either confirm or cancel some payment from my device. Definitely a scam. I just blocked the number and deleted the message straight away.

I picked up the phone and they just hung up straight away, so ive gone ahead and blocked the number now.

Today this number rang me, but as soon as I answered, they just hung up. It really threw me off at work! Can someone please make them stop calling me?

So some bloke rang me claiming to be Sam Morris from some iv help desk or whatever. I asked him what company he was with before I put the person through, and he said he doubted I’d actually put him on, then just hung up. Turns out he was right, cos I blocked the number straight away. Definitely smells like a scam, trying to get hold of stuff that’s not theirs.

I got two calls from this number earlier today but didn’t pick up either time.

he was talking so fast i didn't catch a single thing, something about seeing if i was eligible or something? i just ended the call and put the number straight on block.
