Got a call from a number that looked pretty close to one I usually get calls from, so I picked up. An automated voice claimed to be from Barclays Fraud Department saying they’d blocked a £900 transaction to Argos on my Barclaycard. They said if it wasn’t me, to press 1 to talk to someone. The weird part? I don’t even have a Barclaycard or any accounts with Barclays! So I just ended the call, blocked the number, and reported it straight away!
