Got a call from this number at 9.40 in the morning, and when I asked who was speaking, they didn’t say. They claimed I'd been in an accident involving a blue car, which is strange because I’ve never had a blue car. Then when I tried to find out when the accident supposedly happened, they just cut the call.

this number called me but it went through to my backup phone, the one i only use for gumtree posts and since lockdown i havent had any up. looked it up here and turns out it was scammers, so not my problem!

Got a call from 07533351950, they said it was about an accident and claimed to be from a firm called Road to Recovery. I checked them out on Companies House and it seems they’re connected to a few insurance-related claims businesses, but a lot of these seem to be inactive. I was pretty sure stuff like this was banned back in 2018.

Just got a call from some bloke named Abdullah, said he was with Road Recovery Solicitors or something? Felt dodgy to me, looks like a total scam. Watch out!

I got a call from someone called Ayan Khan, saying they were from Road to Recovery Solicitors. They claimed a government department had shared details about a car crash I supposedly had - which is totally untrue, I’ve never been in an accident. Just a heads up to be careful with these calls!

Got one of those classic car accident scams today. The caller knew a nickname I only share with close mates, so I reckon they must've grabbed my info from that caravan ad I posted on Gumtree a while back. Watch out, everyone!

This number kept ringing me, but every time I picked up, the call dropped immediately. Thinking it’s best to just block it now.

Like a few others here, I got a call from some bloke who claimed to be from the “recovery lepartment” or some made-up dept like that. He said he was ringing about a “minor accident” I supposedly had recently, asking if I remembered it - what a cheek! It was clear he was trying to mess with my head, probably to make me doubt myself. I told him to stop talking nonsense, called him a idiot (not my finest moment), and told him to jog on before hanging up. Definitely a scam, so I’ve blocked the number now.
