Somebody called saying they were from Royal Bank Of Scotland, asking me to check my RBS account to see if there were better options for my investments. Felt a bit fishy to me.

I missed the call at first, but when I rang back and asked the lady who she was, she just ended the call. Tried calling a couple more times after that, but it kept going straight to busy. Seems like she might've blocked me. Looking at what others have said, I'm pretty sure it's some kind of scam or fraud.

Just got a call from someone claiming they needed to check my bank account. I told them I’d rather sort it out in person at the bank, but they insisted it had to be done over the phone and said it’d only take about ten minutes. When I pointed out that the call was from a withheld number, I could tell something was off, so I just ended the call. Pretty sure it was a scam!

They claimed to be from RBS, checking with customers about their spending because of the climbing living costs. They weren’t aggressive, so I just declined politely. Later, I rang back after missing their call, but instead of a proper greeting, a woman just said hello, which felt a bit strange.

I’m almost certain this was a scam. Someone rang me, said they were from Royal Bank of Scotland and scheduled a financial review. When I hung up, I called the number back and it went straight to a Giffgaff voicemail, which definitely isn’t what a proper bank number would do. I then contacted RBS myself, and they told me to just ignore anyone calling like that and not to share any details. They said if I ever need to talk to them, I should call the official number or visit a branch. Sounds like a dodgy scam to me!

I got a call from someone saying they were from my bank and needed to check my account. The moment I told them I'd ring the bank myself, they just ended the call.
