I had no clue who was calling, so I just let it ring out.

Got a call from someone saying they were from the bank's fraud team - total spam. I just ended the call and blocked the number straight away.

Total spam, I think they said they were from 02 or something like that.

Got a call claiming to be from O2, saying I could get 40% off my upcoming bill. I told them I wasn’t keen, and then they just ended the call.

I picked up and after a second of silence, some kind of automated voice said, "His Majesty Revenue and Customs." Since I wasn’t expecting any call from them and this number wasn’t listed as an official contact for me, I decided to just end the call. Feels a bit odd that HMRC would ring from a random mobile number anyway. Fingers crossed it wasn’t actually them!
