Got a call from someone claiming to be with the BMA asking for details about my Covid jabs to update their records. I told them that my GP would have that info and they shouldn’t be asking me. I ended up hanging up pretty quickly. Feels dodgy, like a scam to me.

I got a call from a random phone number and the person claimed to be calling from the British Medical Association. They asked if I’d received my flu and Covid vaccinations. Then they started asking about my life insurance, wanting to know which company I’m with. I hung up and blocked that number. Not long after, the same bloke phoned me back from a different number. He insisted he wasn’t trying to sell me life insurance, but I told him it didn’t concern him, ended the call, and blocked that number too.

Got a couple of silent calls from this number, then on the third one they finally spoke and wanted to chat with whoever handles the bills here. Mentioned something about insurance, gas, electricity and boilers. Seemed like they were reading straight off a script, really pushy as well. Could hear loads of noise in the background and the person spoke with a strong accent. Definitely some kind of spam.
