I told him I no longer had a Hotpoint washing machine when he asked, then he wanted to know which brand I currently used. When I asked where he was calling from, he just ended the call.

Got a call asking if I owned a Hotpoint washing machine and was then told a postcode that’s definitely not mine, which they wanted me to confirm. I didn’t give out my real postcode and asked who they were, but they just ended the call right away.

Got a call about insurance for keeping my white goods in check, I suppose. They asked me to confirm what brand my washing machine was. Bit weird, as they rattled off some info about me from like, over three years back - feels like they’re breaching GDPR or summat. When I asked why they needed that info, they just ended the call straight away. Very dodgy!

Received a rather odd call from someone with an Indian accent, inquiring about my washing machine. I couldn't quite fathom why he was interested, so I asked him what his business was with it. To my surprise, he told me to just sod off before abruptly hanging up. When I tried ringing the number again, it didn’t even connect. Quite the rude and confrontational cold call, if you ask me!

Got a call claiming to be from Marks and Spencer, asking about the make of my washing machine. When I questioned the reason, the caller rudely asked if I was hard of hearing. I ended the call right there.
