i got a call from some national refund dept saying i might have money waiting for me. they told me if i already have a policy like life insurance then they could release the cash owed. sounded odd to me tho, like one of those scam calls?

Got a call from someone saying they’re from the national refund department about PPI, telling me there’s money I’m owed. They said if I’d ever had a policy, like life insurance, they’d be able to give me the cash back. Felt a bit dodgy to me though.
