Earlier today, I received a rather intriguing phone call from a number associated with 'CarPhone Warehouse', claiming that I’m eligible for an upgrade. I promptly dismissed the gentleman who was on the other end of the line. After that, I decided to give the number a ring back, starting with 141 for a bit of privacy, and wouldn’t you know it, the call connected straight to the regular Orange voicemail! Curious about the whole situation, I then reached out to Orange directly to clarify matters. To my relief, they assured me that none of my information had been shared with this lot, and that they have absolutely no connection to this whole affair!

I received a call from "Dave" over at Carphone Warehouse, who reached out regarding a phone upgrade. Now, I have no qualms about that at all. However, what does irk me is the way she portrayed her intentions. She claimed, "We now handle all sales and insurance for Orange," which wasn’t quite right. Additionally, it seemed she was a bit unclear on the different operating systems. The whole experience felt rather salesy and pressured.
