Someone called asking if I was John Parker, I said no and told them a fake name, then they just ended the call. Just another annoying cold call. My mum, who’s 80, keeps her phone off all the time because of these awful scam callers. I’m really worried about her, especially since I can’t ring her anymore to check she's alright. This has to stop soon, if she has a fall or something I’m scared she won’t get help. Honestly, these scammers deserve a special place right beside a blazing fire in hell.

They rang asking if I was John Parker, I told them no and gave a made-up name, then they just hung up - typical cold call nonsense. My mum’s 80 and keeps her phone switched off all the time because of these awful scam callers. It really worries me since I can’t call her to check she’s alright. Something needs doing about this mess - if she has a fall, there’s no way she can call for help. Honestly, people pulling these tricks deserve a special place right by the fires of hell.
