Received a call on my mobile from this number, and the individual spoke to my other half. She mentioned they brought up the word "three," and stated that someone tried to set up a contract using our details. They claimed they'd be back in touch within the hour, yet we never heard from them again. We tried ringing the number back, but all we got was a single ring before it disconnected. It's left us quite anxious, to be honest. How did they come by our information, and if they were legitimate, why didn't they follow through with another call?

After doing a bit of digging online, it appears to be linked to the Three mobile network's sales team or possibly their third-party sales representatives. I’d suggest reaching out directly to Three and requesting to have your number removed from their dialler. Although I’m no longer with them (I used to be), I'm actually connected to a different mobile provider now!

On two occasions, they answered but promptly disconnected the call again. We even heard the message stating that the caller had ended the call. After a brief interval of about five minutes, we tried reaching them again, only to be met with an Orange voicemail saying there were too many messages saved to leave any new ones. What a palaver!
