I recently received a call from a company that went by the name of Virtual Networks, or something quite similar. They were posing as representatives from O2, our mobile service provider. Their pitch involved persuading us to renew our contract, supposedly offering either a new phone or a tempting £70 discount. I asked if they could send a proper written document through the post, but something about the whole interaction felt off. Honestly, I'm sceptical about whether they're genuinely affiliated with O2 at all, and I don't think it's worth our time to engage further.
